This is a prevalent problem during the holidays. Make sure that your self care box is full. Take time to do relaxing healthy things for yourself . Keep a focus on your own recovery, plan ahead for holiday family events that include alcohol/ drug use, make a plan to stay sober. Make support meetings, do daily readings of recovery, stay grateful for what you have.

During the holidays persons suffer with family issues, monetary, and anxiety/depression issues. Substance use is more prevalent and accepted at this time of year. Take time for yourself, relax, and unwind without using substances. Do something for another person. Reach out if you need more help with any of the above issues, please call for an appointment.
